AJ Manas’ pursuit of a maiden Matchroom Major title gathered momentum on day three, as the 18-year-old Reyes Cup MVP produced a stunning comeback to eliminate reigning World Champion Carlo Biado to reach a Filipino-dominated Last 16.

Team Asia were crowned Reyes Cup champions for the second year in a row, completing a dominant title defence over Team Rest of the World in front of a roaring Manila crowd.

Team Asia continued their reign of dominance, securing a second consecutive whitewash to take a commanding 7–0 lead over Team Rest of the World. At the heart of the action was 18-year-old AJ ‘Starboy’ Manas, who potted all three winning nine-balls to fire Asia closer to retaining their crown in Manila.
