Johann Chua is the 2026 Roobet Philippines Open Pool champion after beating Anton Raga 11–9 in an all-Filipino final at Gateway Mall. He becomes the first Filipino to lift the title on home soil and claims his second Matchroom Major, in his first Major appearance of the year.

The opening day of the 2026 Roobet Philippines Open Pool Championship brought shocks at Gateway Mall in Quezon City, with reigning European Open champion Moritz Neuhausen, Team Asia duo Francisco Bustamante and AJ Manas all crashed out, while defending champion David Alcaide and World No.1 Aloysius Yapp made emphatic starts.

Team Rest of the World took the lead for the first time with a commanding Day Two at the Makati Coliseum, winning four of the five matches to go 6–3 up on Team Asia.

Team Rest of the World recovered from a 2–0 deficit to draw level with defending champions Team Asia at 2–2 after the opening day of the 2026 Roobet Reyes Cup, as Francisco Sánchez Ruiz and the Mosconi Cup pairing of Fedor Gorst and Shane Van Boening swung the momentum at the Makati Coliseum.

The World Nineball Tour, in partnership with Puyat Sports, is thrilled to confirm that both the Reyes Cup and the Philippines Open Pool Championship will make their highly anticipated return to Manila this October.
